Bowl Games

This week we have three games! The Bourbon Bowl on Saturday 12/31 at 9 AM. Pain Bowl on Sunday, 1/1 at 10 AM. And the Pity Bowl on Monday, 1/2 at 9 AM. All games at Waters Field.

For this New Year's special, I was able to contact some Mr. T fans' moms and get some baby photos. See if you can identify Dancing (Rock) Star, The Judge, Criminal, The UF, London Collin, Tricky D and 4X in the photo gallery to the right >>>

Holiday Bowl, Thursday Night Lights 12/22

It started to rain one minute before the kick-off and it never let up. This made for some sloppy football, especially with the huge turn-out. We played 11v11 for a while and eventually got down to 8v8 after some injuries and early departures. East beat West 26-6. We had a lot of high school boys out to play including Joe K, Brian & Kevin T, Jordan P and another kid... Chad? We also had a couple new players: Eric and... Mojo?

During the pregame warm-up we had some fans show up ready to tailgate, but the rain drove them all away. We even had the Mayor! That's right. You know its big when our Mayor comes down to participate in the opening ceremonies. Thank you Mayor Jane Seeman!

For the East we had The Judge, Dancing Star, Justin, Heat Seeker, Kevin, The UF, Criminal, Mojo, Brian T, Jordan P. West had Tim D, Tommy B, TD Banker, Bob V, Gio, Big Jim, Mike P, Eric, Joe K, Kevin T & Chad.

Big plays? Justin had a nice Pick six aided by some nice downfield blocking by the Heat Seeker. The UF had a TD catch that was also aided by some nice downfield blocking by the Heat Seeker, again, and the Dancing Star. The Judge had 3 TD passes to The UF, Justin and Heat Seeker. Tim D had one TD pass to Big Jim.

For the kids that played I recall a nice long ball to Kevin T and a pick for Brian T. Brian T kicked off for the East and showed some nice soccer form. Jordan P used his speed to race in and get a few key tags on defense.
A Motley Crew

Boxing Bowl, Monday 12/26

We played 8v8. West beat East 27-21. West had Tim D, Kevin, Criminal, Tommy B, Justin, Paul C, Dancing Star and superstar peewee player, The Wile E. Coyote (Justin's son). East had Gio, Ken, Tito, Roger, Eric, Tom C, Big Jim and peewee player The Turk. The player of the day has to be Wile E. He had two TD receptions, three sacks and a safety! Not bad for a 12-year old playing with a bunch of (old) men. For the East, Gio had 2 TD passes to Big Jim & Tom C. Ken also threw a long one to Tito. For the West, Tim D had 3 TD passes to Tommy B (2) and Wile E. Justin also threw a TD to Wile E.

Because you've read this far, I wonder why this is Tricky D's favorite football video?

On the seventh day, God created Mr. T. Then they both chilled out and watched the game. See you Saturday, Sunday & Monday.

Happy Festivus

Special Christmas schedule this week. No game on Saturday, Christmas Eve. But, as a bonus, we will play twice: First on Thursday, 12/22 at 7:15 PM under the lights baby! And again on Monday, 12/26 at 9 AM. Both games at Waters Field.  Spread the word!

We had a really close game on Saturday. We played 7v7 and West beat East 44-35. The lead went back and forth throughout the game. It was very close. Playing for West was Tim D, Gio, Heat Seeker, London Collin, Tommy B, Bob V, Mark S & Ken A. The East had Levon Helm, Dancing Star, TD Banker, Big Jim, 4X, Kevin W and Criminal. Some nice plays? Levon hit TD Banker for a long, you guessed it, TD. It was a nice throw into some tight coverage and a really nice catch looking back over the outside shoulder. London Collin scored the first two for West, one was on a kick-off return! Big Jim scored twice, the second a long run that was called back due to flag guarding. Tsk. Tsk. Levon had a nice scramble for a successful 2 point conversion to Kevin W. Tim D sealed the deal for West with a pick six to end the game. Gotta get a better name for Tim D than Tim D. Aaron Rodgers?

Playing peewee rushing for West was Cooper D. East had a guest peewee player - Joey J.

We have a new nickname for Billy E. In as much as Billy likes The Band,  he will no longer be called Levon helm. Instead, he will henceforth be known as The Judge. Why? Because the big gun ought to have a name like a big gun. "I bulave that gits the job done rot thar."

Tender hands? It's what all good receivers have. Especially the gay ones, I guess. Speaking of gay, where was the UF this week? He bought another new work-out device. It's very exciting. According to the UF, "You can work out and crank up some wood at the same time!"

So, Fans. Thursday night is your opportunity to get your tailgate on. And you don't have to drive to Landover (or Raljon or whatever). Come on down to Waters. Bring your food, beverages, kids, dogs, camping chairs. Beer bong? What the heck. Nobody's working on Friday anyway and even if you do have to go in, it will be a total slacker day.

Did you know Mr. T's van runs on Vin Diesel? See you THURSDAY!

Mr. T can count past infinity

Next game is Saturday, 12/17, Waters Field, 9 AM

We played 8v8 this week. West beat East 27-6. For the West we had Tim D, Big Jim, Kevin, Billy B, Tommy B, Bob V, the UF and M. East had London Collin, Gio, Tito, Murdock, Criminal, Mark S, Dances with Stars and 4X. The player of the day has to be Tim D who threw for three TDs, ran for 1, got two picks and two sacks. The play of the day came on East's only score. Dances with Stars intercepted and returned 80 yards for TD, juking and spinning all the way down the field. He actually ran 347.5 yards (I measured) and gave a demonstration why he IS the Dancing Star.

We had a quick Peewee game afterward with Sackinator and Cooper D playing on one side and Danny W and the Turk on the other. Tim D hit the Sackinator for a long TD then, after a long catch for Danny, London Collin hit Turk for another TD. Both extra points failed and we ended in a 6-6 tie.

Heat Seeker! We got a new nickname for Tito. Not only is Tito the fastest guy on the field, he also has an uncanny ability to pull flags. You think you are running free, dodging would-be flaggers, when suddenly, here comes Tito, the heat seeking missile. You won't even notice when he flies by, but, you've just lost your flag. I guess it's lucky we don't play tackle! Otherwise he may wear those sparkly purple shorts. Then the UF would be running around yelling "tackle me, tackle me!" That'd be bad.

The Dancing Star looked a little winded after his long run, judging by his being laid out for several minutes in the end zone. He did just run 347.5 yards, but who cares? For those that tend to get winded, I think this work-out vid might be for you. Seriously? This may actually be real. Huuuwaaa!!!! I showed my daughter Liv and she says "Hahaha, Why is she doing that? Such a freak!" My sentiments exactly. And if you think that's weird, check this out. WTF?

Now this is some serious traffic. Pretty cool, huh? Some of those scenes remind me of the defensive backfield when we play six eligible.

Did you know that if Mr. T was gay, he'd be Chuck Norris? See you Saturday.

"I Love it when a plan comes together!" - Hannibal

Next game is Saturday, 12/10, at 9 AM at Waters Field. Should we continue to use flags? Make sure you run it up the Flag Poll (neat pun, huh? I made that up!) >>>

Another ass-whipping. We played 7v7. This time East beat West 54-20. East had Levon Helm, Kenny Anderson, Gio, Bob V, London Collin, Roger M & 4XL Todd (I was told this week that I did not have enough X's in the worlds largest WR's nickname. Henceforth to be known as 4X.) The UF came late and replaced Gio.  West had Tim D, Chris Collingsworth, Tommy B, Big Jim, Big Dan, Tito, Criminal & Chad (4X's bro, though not nearly as large. We may call him.... M. Concentrate.) Eventually Dances with Stars showed and replaced Tito. Playing Peewee for West was the FF and for East was the Turk. Big plays I can remember? Chris had a pick six for West and Ken had not one, but two pick six's for East. 4X also scored another TD. He caught a pass right in front of me. I grabbed a hold of lots of 4X before the end zone, but, alas, no flag.

I was asked recently who certain people were as referred to by their nicknames. This is a nickname refresher:
  • Dances with Stars is Mike C. So called because he really likes to throw in some hip-hop and lots of spin moves whenever he gets the ball. Sometimes he just spins alone, umm, disqualified. Sometimes he wears that red turban (confused about the red shirt).
  • Levon Helm is Billy E. Named after the rock multi-instrumentalist, Billy is still lamenting "The night they drove old dixie down."
  • London Collin is Collin Nolan. No reason except I like The Clash.
  • Criminal is Bard S. Criminal because he has a special relationship with VPD. "Come on back over here little piggy and I'll shove these fireworks right up your arse!" Criminal is also gay (nothing wrong with that, live and let live), but in a metrosexual kind of way. Some would say "European." I say, "what's the difference?" How many guys do you know that wear knickers, berets or lime green vests?
  • The UF is JP. UF is short for the Ultimate Fighter, a name I felt JP needed since he is also gay and sometimes feels less manly. How do I know he is gay? Like Criminal, he knows gay things, but in a much more visceral way. For instance, he knows weird gay anatomy stuff, how to do the butler's handshake and how to do the elephant walk. Just ask him.
  • 4X is the worlds largest WR.
  • Tricky D is Doug M. So named because he likes to be tricky and do trick plays. He also carries that little rat dog around in his pocket and it will jump out and start chewing on your leg while you try to run a pass pattern. And it happens to be the nickname of Doug's favorite former POTUS.
  • Twinkle Toes is Frank O. Frank got this name when he was quite a bit heavier than he is now and was in the same dance competition as Mike C. Unfortunately, due to a midlife back-pain crisis, Twinkle is out for the season. He lost a lot of weight and now his back bothers him. Hmm. There's a lesson here?
  • Murdock is Richard D. You know the "A Team"? Of course you do. Murdock is the guy that's always pissing off B.A. Baracus.
  • Rick the Pick is Rick L. He earned that name with a four pick game last year. Mrs. Pick suggested we call him Rabbit Rick but I am trying to keep this rated PG-13.
  • Turk is Bard Jr. Turk is short for Turkish. You gotta love Guy Richie!
  • FF is the Future Fighter - JP Jr.
  • Sackinator is Matt B. Billy B's boy.

We could use some more nicknames and I am open to any suggestions. Levon congratulated Tito after a nice play last week with "Nice grab Teats!" That's just wrong. We cannot use that one.

My good friend and Mr. T videographer Fred S (yea, thats right. we have our own videographer, how many pickup leagues can say that?! uh huh) told me about this new workout device. For those of you who feel you are having a tough time keeping up on the field, this might be for you. If you need a partner, the UF and Criminal are ready to assist!

Speaking of a tough time, football is a tough sport. But if you are in your late forties and plan to get up to play football at 9 AM, I do not recommend that you drink half a bottle of gin the night before. Pain! Tommy B. Doing foolish things so you don't have to!

There was a time when Mr. T did not pity fools. That time was called never. See you Saturday.

Pain: The receiving end of an ass-whipping.

Next game is Saturday, 12/3, at 9 AM at Waters.

A big turn out for opening day - 10 v 10. West beat East 54-21. This was actually a huge accomplishment for East considering the game started at 40 - 0. West had Tim D, Big Jim, Tom C, Paul C (Tom's brother), Joe K, Gio & Mark H. They also had three new players: Ken, Chris & Jeff. I think their last names were Anderson, Collinsworth & Hostetler. East had Levon Helm, Dances with Stars, Tommy B, Billy B, Kevin W, Patrick M, Connor M, Roger M, London Collin & new T fan Steven. The Sackinator played defense for both teams. I cannot remember who made all the plays, especially for the West - there were so many it's just too... painful. Ken had several very long scrambles for TD with East's inability to pull a flag. Chris and Jeff also caught several long balls for TDs. Tim D and Ken lit up East's secondary like Diwali. Big Jim was completing passes with his left arm - seriously! West finally scored on a long ball from Collin to Kevin. Then Collin ran one in and got West to semi-respectable double-digits.

On Saturday we had 6 v 6. West beat East 54-37. West had Big Jim, Tim D, Bob V, Gio, Rick the Pick & Mike P. East had Triple XL Todd, Levon Helm, Tommy B, Dances with Stars, Kevin W & Tito. The BIG play of the day was a nice one-handed grab by the largest WR ever, Todd, from Levon for TD. Reminded me of the '85 Bears. 308 lbs? That's probably pretty close.

We lost players to injury, Billy B and Roger M on Thursday, Rick the Pick on Saturday. Hopefully they will be back soon. Roger did not get hurt playing football. He got hurt when he made some "short" comment to this dude.

Seven of us played both days. It's not getting any easier. I almost needed a wheelchair to leave the field on Saturday. But after a tub of ice water, 12 Advil and half a bottle of tequila (and now that the hangover's gone), I cannot wait to play again!

Flags or no flags? We tried it on Thursday, played touch on Saturday. As much as they suck playing defense, flags are definitely a benefit on offense. I think we should try the flags again this week.

Criminal and the UF have both been missing so far this year. UF actually has a semi-legit excuse - he ran the JFK50 on 11/19 and his legs still hurt. A week later? Questionable. Criminal hurt his back doing a questionable activity.

Mr. T doesn’t breathe, air just hides in his lungs for protection. See you Saturday.

The 6th Annual Mr. T Football Club Kickoff

Our opening day is, as always, Thanskgiving. We start at 8 AM and we will play at Marshall HS. There are two fields, so look around. And bring a red shirt.

Criminal - you start at 7:30 AM. Then maybe you will be on time. UF, start basting your turkey early so too can be on time, flamer. And nobody wants to hear any prissy excuse about running 50 miles off-road the Saturday beforehand.

Game 2 is Saturday, November 26th, 9 AM @ Waters Field.

It's hard to believe its been five years since the Biles holiday party when Mr. T football was born. From Thanksgiving through the Superbowl we have not missed a Saturday since reaching critical mass in year three.

To commemorate this occasion, I have written a song. It's called "Play Football". (That took some thought.) Sung to the melody of Led Zeppelin's "Ramble On":

"Leaves are falling all around, It's time to get off your a$$.
Thanks to me, we play football. I don't need to hear your sass.
But now it's time for Mr. T. The frozen turf lights your way.
For now I see blood stains, and with it pain, and it's headed your way.
Ahh your jibba jabba makes me so tired, but you know you've got one thing you got to do...

[Chorus]
Play Football, And now's the time, the time is now, to Play Football.
I pity the fool, I got to take you to school, on my way.
Its been this way five years to the day, Play Football,
Gotta play the game and don't be lame.

Lame. I know. Apologies to Page and Plant. Just make sure you show up on Thanksgiving. And bring a red shirt.

Garage Party

Friday, April 1st. I Pity the fool who aint ready to party!
This Friday night we will be playing darts, ring toss and of course, the famous nail game. Striking stool will be available for the vertically challenged. Bring some good bier, (that would be German or Chezk pils) or some bad beer (anything else). Bring food, if you want something besides pretzels or chips.

The garage is cleaned after a year of neglect, Joe A has a stump perfectly seasoned, hammer stapler is loaded and ready for the UF, Criminal has a new lime green vest, Billy B has a brand new dance. You don't want to miss it. It's time to be foolish.

Act a Fool

Well, I guess 'maybe' really means 'no'. And 'yes' doesn't always really mean 'yes'. I created a new poll for this Saturday and removed most of the ambiguity. >>>>

For the seven us that showed up Saturday we got some good exercise. We played 3v3 with the extra at QB, pressure applied by Turkish. London Collin, Roger M and Criminal scored twice. Kevin, Billy B and Tommy B just once.  Final 14 -  9. Big Jim played QB, alternating with Billy B and Criminal. TDs were scored by London, Roger & Jim. Turkish had a sack and a safety!

We will try again Saturday the 5th. Hey, we played last month on Saturday the 5th! Spoooky....

Garage Party, and the famous Nail Game, is Friday, April 1st. Mrs. T says that is an appropriate date for a bunch of guys to drink a lot of beer and hammer nails into logs. Huh?

Super Bowl, Season Stats, T Party

For those of us that could handle the cold nasty rain, we had a good 4v4 game on Super Bowl Saturday, 2/5. West 13 East 6. The ball was hard to catch and that kept the scoring way down. West had Justin, Kevin, Billy B & Tommy B. East had Gio, Tito, Criminal & Tom C.

Attendance for 2010-2011 is posted in the right rail. We played 14 games. With the exception of a few, attendance was a bit weak this year. What's your excuse? Too much pain? I got an MRI on my left shoulder and my Doctor tells me I have a torn rotator cuff. It's been bothering me since New Years Day when I got a full swat on a Levon bullet pass while rushing East's QB. That was six football games ago. Wise? Perhaps not. But like Mr. T says "It takes a smart guy to play dumb." Besides, what else do I need a shoulder for? Oh. Yea. It's almost Mountain Bike season. Crap.

The West vs. East tally was 11-3 with the West outscoring the East 453 - 334. If you usually play for the East (and you know who you are) I expect to see some chips on some shoulders next year 'cause my shoulder will be back - playing for the West!

T Party is 2/18. I hope to see you all there.

I'm the baddest man in the world.

It's Super Bowl Saturday on 2/5 and we will play at Marshall HS again, and still 9AM. Do you see, "Will you attend the T Party?" >>>

Snow Bowl! West 36 East 33. Six inches is perfect, so JoJo tells me. She is talking about the depth of snow for playing football, of course. And of course, she is right!

West had Tim D, London Collin, Rick the Pick, the UF, Sean P, Billy B & Tommy B. East had Gio, Tito, Tony J, Tom C, Criminal & Kevin. I recall two nice TD passes from Gio to Tony J. One was a long pass that Tony ran under and the second a nice high catch across the back of the end zone. I remember the second catch very well as I was waiting in the back of the end zone for the pick, watching that ball float down toward me when suddenly Tony flew by about 10 feet off the ground and the ball disappeared. Tony hit the ground and snow sprayed everywhere - the ball was in his hands.

Digging around the internet, I discovered another video of the criminal acting up. Thought you might enjoy it. "Is it illegal to cut grass? What the hell! My wife's gonna kick your a$$!"

Tricky D has been missing the last few weeks. It seems that he has been composing a new song. Now known as Master Trick E D, I found this MTV clip. Warning, mature audience only - Master Trick does not mince words.

This could be the last game of the season. It could be your last chance. So, what are you gonna do? Remember, time waits for no one, unless you are Mr. T.

Before Mr. T, there was no letter between S and U.

First, for all you ADHD MoFos that can't read more than two sentences, we will play at Marshall on Saturday. Still with me? Mr. T Party will be at my house on Friday, February 18th. See box to the right and answer the poll. >>>

Oh man was it cold! But was it too cold to play? Rhetorical question. West 27 East 20 Temperature 16

East had Gio, Tito, Tony J, Tom C, Big Jim, the UF, Kevin and  Dances with Stars West had Tim D, Rick the Pick, Howie, Big Dan, Murdock, Patrick M. Billy B, Tommy B and new T fan, Tim K. West lost two to injury and Big Jim switched sides to keep the numbers even.  Sackinator played defense for both teams.

East started strong outscoring West 20 - 0. Gio was on - picking apart West's soft zone defense spreading the ball to multiple receivers. On the first drive alone I recall completions to Kevin, the UF, Tom C, Big Jim and Tito. After East's 3rd TD, we were walking back down the field (losers walk) to receive the kick-off. We talked it out, decided we needed to dig deep. "This can't happen to us!" we said. "We got to bring it!" The ensuing kick-off Patrick M returned to the 50 with some nice blocking by Billy B. That's when things started to turn around! Play of the game was on this drive - a 30 yard pass from Tim D rolling hard to his right passing into double-coverage and pulled down by Murdock for the score. West was on the board! No looking back. Tim D hit Tommy B twice in the endzone and then hit Murdock again for another. West woke up and came back with a vengeance scoring 27 unanswered.

We had a lot of players get injured in this game. I suspect the cold weather may have had something to do with that. We had injuries to a knee, lower back, shoulder, foot, hamstring, and somehow, the UF hurt his butt. Not sure how that happened. Preexisting condition? The criminal has been missing the last two weeks. He went down to Louisiana and got caught breakin the law, again. Listen to his disguise accent, "Maybe I'll come down. Maybe I won't." Mrs. C tells me he'll be out on bail for Saturday's game.

On a more positive note, I think this kid may be a future Mr. T fan. I showed this to JoJo and she says, "Why because he's tough?" then under her breath, "or stupid. hehehe..." Huh?

We will stay at Marshall HS again this week. That turf is a little more forgiving. Game is on 1/29 @ 9 AM @ Marshall HS.  So Mr. T walks into a bar... the bar bends.

If at first you don't succeed, you aint Mr. T.

West 40 East 35.  West had Tim D, Rick the Pick, London Collin, Bannon the Banker, Kevin, Patrick M, Big Dan, Billy B & Tommy B. East had Big Jim, Sean P, Roger M, Gio, Tito, Tom C, Twinkle Toes & Howie. It was the day of the big play. NFL scouts should be down at Waters checking out the local talent.

These are the plays I can remember though I am sure there were many more: Tito pulled in two nice grabs on one drive - one a ricochet off of defenders the second for the TD, a jump ball pulled down between multiple defenders. Bannon grabbed a deflected pass off his back shoulder. Roger, Sean & Tom C all had nice long run-after-catch for TDs. Big Jim pulled a high ball down in traffic on a 4th and 20. Play of the day goes to... Billy B! With a long ball catch over the back shoulder, one handed, sun in the eyes, pants fallin down, nose runnin, shoes untied and Tricky D's dog chewing on his leg. Ok so only the first three things are true but it was still a really nice catch.

This week we celebrate Martin Luther King's legacy so I found this commercial to commemorate the occasion. I am not sure what makes me happier - living in such a harmonious, racially integrated society or, not living in High Point, North Carolina.

So here's a tangent. Watching this reminds me of rednecks, which reminds me that my kids have inexplicably started listening to redneck, I mean, country, uh, music. So I am listening to the lyrics from songs by Carrie Underpants. Heard of her? They're not all that stupid, right? I mean Johnny Cash is country and I like his lyrics. Anyway she is singing about keying somebody's truck in one song. Yea. That's pretty redneck. Then she sings about letting go of her steering wheel while driving and letting "Jesus take the wheel". Uh, so I know I am not the most religious person in the world, but, don't do that. That won't work. I hope I never meet that dumb B on the road.

Anyway. The UF did not make it out again. It seems he has contracted some sort of ailment and had to go to a store in Indiana to get some medicine. Hope he feels better.

Did you know when Mr. T received his star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame, he made his hand prints after the cement was dry? This week we play on 1/22 at 9 AM @ MARSHALL HIGH.

Mr. T shot the sheriff and the deputy.

West 43 East 14. West had Murdock, Rick the Pick, Billy B, Tommy B, Gio, Big Dan, London Collin & Tito. East had Criminal, The UF, Big Jim, Joe K, Roger M, Tony J, Twinkle Toes & Kevin. New T fan, Brian S, showed up late and subbed in on both sides. In the 10-year old battle it was Sackinator vs Turk. Sackinator came away with another sack!

Play of the day was East's lone score for most of the day. Roger M picked off Rick the Pick (Picked the Pick?) and returned 50 yards for the TD. As West came up to the line of scrimmage, the Pick yelled, "Hey Billy! Billy! BILLY!!!" Roger, playing corner on Billy's side thought, "Huh, maybe I should key on Billy." He was right. Definitely not Rick the Trick. Gio also had a nice day, padding his stats with a few TD passes at QB, on the receiving end of a 2PT conversion, and while playing on the D-line, a safety and a interception return for TD. Not a bad day. Rick the Pick halled in 3 interceptions while Tommy B got 4 and out picked the Pick.

The UF and I were discussing the inability of some footballers to properly catch a football. Most players know that you catch the ball with your hands, right? Well, after a couple glasses, er bottles, of wine the UF and I decided to make a video. We enlisted the help of the FF (that's Sammy, UF's son, the Future Fighter!)  Watch and learn, grasshoppa, as the FF demonstrates catching with your hands and then, catching with your body.

Mr. T doesn't care what Willis was talking about, it was probably just a bunch of jibba jabba anyway. And nobody wants to hear about why you cannot play this week, we know its all jibba jabba . The game is on Saturday 1/15 @ 9 AM @ Waters.

Mr. T does not sleep. He waits.

New Years Eve day we played 5v5. East beat West 56-42. Not much defense with 5v5. East had Levon, Twinkle Toes, Dancing with Stars, Justin and the Turk. West had Big Jim, Criminal, Tim D, Joe K and Tommy B. Cooley showed up late, again, and replaced Criminal. One highlight (lowlight?) was when Dancing with Stars got slapped in the face with the ball on a kick-off. He liked that so much, the next play he tried to catch the ball with his face. Uh, that didn't work out so well either. The Turk had a sack, a 40 yard kick-off return and a 40 yard reception. The Turk, recall, is 10 years old.

News Years day we played 8v8. East beat West, again. This time by a score of 48-34. East had Levon. Justin, Tom C, Howie, Criminal, Gio, and new T fans Triple XL Todd and Greg A. West had Tim D, Big Jim, Dances with Stars, Rick the Pick, Bannon the Banker, London Collin, Tommy B, and new T fan Howard. And of course we always have the small-sided battle between the 10 year-olds - this time Maxx (Bannon's son) played for West against the Turk for the East. The highlight of the day was Justin's interception return for TD. He took it about 80 yards and left most of West laying on the ground in his wake. Other highlights were the BIG hits from London Collin. East tried to set up a wall on one interception return and London demonstrated how to put a hole in a wall, like a bomb from the London Blitz. He also put a few other players on their @$$. Basically, anybody that attempts to block him. Like I've said in the past, this is "touch" football - for the guy with the ball.

Some of you guys have been failing with your attendance lately. Don't let anyone keep you from playing. Desperate times call for desperate measures. The UF did not make it out, again. But nobody's keeping the UF from playing. He just chooses not to. This time he was playing another game and got arrested. Maybe he can wear his magic boots to the football game.

We play on Saturday 1/8 @ 9 AM  @ Waters. The forecast is for a high of 33.  Make sure your car is running well so you won't be late. (Wow. That's hard to watch. Tommy B - searching the internet so you don't have to!)

Did you know, when a can of whoopass is opened, Mr. T jumps out? Happy New Year. See you Saturday.
