Snow Bowl, Round 2

Next game, also LAST game this year is on SuperBowl Saturday @ 9 AM on Waters Field.

The Field

Only 5 players showed up this week, but we made the most of it. Adamizer, HH, Rick the Pick, Criminal and Tommy Gun. 2v2 Redzone game. Three plays to go about 10 yards and score. We just rotated QB, WR and Defense so everyone played everywhere. Everyone caught and threw multiple TDs. Best of all we played tackle! We had passes, runs, trick plays, fake trick plays, razzle dazzle, laterals, blitzes, toe taps, diving catches, goal line stands and HH even had an interception. I know you suckas are sorry you missed it. The snow is still about 10 inches deep so its really hard to run fast and it makes a nice cushion when you get knocked down.

The Players

This week will be your last chance to play. Final game of the 10th season of Mr. T Football. The five pictured are Guaranteed to show up. We need at least 5 more. I wanna see Big Jim, Kenny Rugby, Rodger Rocker, George, Hatrick Patrick, Mike O, Frank, Pistol Pete, Billy B, Sackinator and Jake the Snake. There will probably still be some snow!

Snow Bowl 2016

Pro-Bowl Game this week Saturday, 1/30 @ 9 AM @ Waters Field

Ready to go. Waiting for the Mr. T Fans.

We played 1v0 this week. Tackle in the snow!  West had Tommy Gun and East had no one. West beat East 7-0. West scored on a kick off return for TD by Tommy Gun. Gun smoke, untouched. East had 4 delay of game penalties. Then no one quit.

Tommy Gun. Winner.

Of course you could say "loser". Hanging out on a big snow-covered empty field by himself with nobody to play with. Whatever. We could have had an awesome game of tackle in 18 inches of snow! Am I the only one who loves football as much as me?

Is it too cold? Lame. Is the blizzard "scary"? Grow a pair. I get that many could not get their car out of the driveway. But a lot of guys live close enough to walk. You could also Mountain Bike on the plowed streets (I know cuz I did that after I left Waters.) And if you don't own a Mountain Bike well that's just lame too.

Only two weeks left. Try to not be lame.

Rumble on the Rhombus

Next game is Saturday, 1/23 @ 9 AM @ Waters Field - The Rectangle Challenge.

It may snow. So what! We still play. Don't be a prissy.

We played 4v4 with JC as all-time quarterback. West had Wiley Coyote, Sammy the Kid, Rodger Rocker and Tommy Gun. East had Sean, Jacob, Billy B and the Sackinator.

West beat East 48-46. West scored on 7 TD passes from JC to Wiley Coyote (4), Sammy the Kid (2) and Tommy Gun. East scored on 7 TD passes to Sean (4) and Jacob (3).

That's 14 TD passes from JC in his final game of this season! Good luck JC. See you on the field next year.

Week 8

Next game is 1/16 @ 9 AM on cushy Waters Field.

We played 8v8 today. East beat West 26-20.

East had JC, Wily Coyote, Criminal, Big Jim, Hokey Joe, Jake the Snake, and three new players - Alex, Gavin & Luke (I think).

West had Adamizer, HH, Sean, Rodger Rocker, Turk, Tommy Gun and two new players (? & ?).

East scored on 2 TD passes from JC to Jake the Snake and Big Jim, a TD run by JC and a pick six by Wiley Coyote.

West scored on 3 TD passes from Adamizer to Rodger Rocker, Sean & Tommy Gun

Waters Field is THE BOMB!

Game this week is Saturday 1/9 @ 9 AM on soft, cushiony Waters Field! Its so nice.

We played 6v6. East beat West 40 - 29. East had JC, Wiley Coyote, Sean , Roger Rocker, Mike O and Hatrick Patrick. West had Kenny Rugby, Tom C, HH, Criminal, Billy B and Tommy Gun. We definitely need to split up the teenagers!

East scored on 7 TD passes from JC to Wiley Coyote (4), Sean (2) & Hatrick Patrick. East scored on 3 TD passes from Kenny Rugby to Criminal, Sean (when he switched sides) & Tommy Gun. West also scored when HH got a pick six.
